New Meetup: NYEBN Entrepreneur Networking Reception at M1-5 Lounge

"Announcing a new Meetup for WS13 Viral Marketing Group! ... MoreWhat: NYEBN Entrepreneur Networking Reception at M1-5 Lounge When: Tuesday, March 23, 2010 6:00 PM Where: M1-5 Lounge 52 Walker Street New York, NY 10013 (212) 965-1701 Important: To RSVP for this event, go to http://www.ny-entrepr... Announcing NYEBN's 2nd networking event in March at M1-5 Lounge. The venue is large enough to accommodate our crowd. Lighting and music are both comfortable for networking. Most importantly, we get to try out a venue in Tribeca area this time! M1-5 will be exclusively available for NYEBN members from 6-10 PM. NYEBN's networking parties are gaining more and more popularity. RSVP early to secure your spots for sure. If you show up without RSVP, it's $10 at the door. A couple things to keep in mind: 1. Vendors/Sponsors We have big screen TVs available at M1-5, which allow us to feature your ads. You can purchase an ad, get a vendor table, or do both for this event. For the March 9th event at Slate, I believe there are only one or two tables left. Contact Sue for details (Susan at WebStudio13 dot Com). 2. Drink Specials There will be drink specials available for NYEBN members from 6-10 PM. 2 drinks per person are usually the norm for an event like this. So far our venue partners have been incredibly generous to make venues exclusive for NYEBN members while turning away their regular customers. To make these free events a win-win for everybody, please patronize the venues by staying in the norm. Old policy still holds. If you get two of your guests join NYEBN at the event, your 1st drink that night is on me. 3. Other Important Reminders I. This is a business networking event. Dress code should be formal and professional. II. You need to be at least 21 to enter the venue. Bring you ID with you. III. If you do not want to wait in the line, print out the reminder email (with YES RSVP) or your own RSVP page (a sample) so you can get in immediately. IV. The time of this event is from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM 4. Venue Both the location and venue itself are incredible! Lights can be turned all the way up. Check out these pictures: Note: We only accept RSVPs at NYEBN. If you wish to attend, please go to http://www.ny-entrepr... The venue is spacious, bright and fancy, which is great for the size of our group and our purpose. The managers are very accommodating our needs, which I am extremely grateful of. Although we have lots of room, make sure you RSVP early, because people who RSVP in the last minute tend to only end up on the waiting list. Please read the following carefully: 1. Award Ceremony/Announcement (6:30 - 6:45 PM) This time slot is designated for the two winners of the February Affiliate program. We will hand out two Microsoft Office Suites ($679.95 each). Thank Microsoft for providing these prizes. Each of the winners will be allowed time to plug their own business. If you are not familiar with February's affiliate program, read it here. 2. Vendors/Sponsors We have two options for you to participate in this event as our vendors/sponsors. I. Get a vendor table just as usual. II. Show your slides on the big screen TV. There are sufficient monitors. Best option is that you have your DVD and we will show your commercial. Contact Susan for details (susan at webstudio13 dot com) 3. Name Tags The old rule still holds. We will continue to mandate high quality name tags at our networking events. If you don't already have a plastic name tag holder, you will need to purchase one when you check in for $1 each. 4. Other important items I. This is a business networking event. Dress code should be formal and professional. II. You need to be at least 21 to enter the venue. Bring you ID with you. III.
